The GRID Clinic is a medical weight loss program that uses proven methods to achieve rapid weight loss.   Following  evalulation, clients are placed on either a full or partial meal replacement program.  Support meetings provide a setting for learning and sharing.

GRID stands for Glycemic Response Inhibition Diet.   The GRID Diet is based on improving nutrition by decreasing or eliminating high glycemic index foods (without resorting to  a high animal protein intake).  High glycemic index foods are replaced with whole plant foods that are high in fiber and have a low glycemic index.  This helps create a fat burning metabolism and lowers levels of hormones that contribute to weight gain.  Although the GRID Diet is a great foundation, your nutrition can be further enhanced with the GRID Meal Replacement , and ProFiberPlus our high fiber supplement.  These two products help reduce appetite and shift  your total caloric intake into an even healthier range.  Call the Clinic for an evaluation or try the GRID Meal Replacement at home!

Are you overweight or obese?  If the answer is yes, then the GRID Clinic may be able to help.  At the GRID Clinic we are able to achieve rapid weight loss using the GRID Meal Replacement.  But that is just the beginning because rapid weight loss is of little value without addressing the underlying causes of obesity.  Developing insight into your eating behaviors is key to long term success. At the GRID Clinic every client attends weekly group meetings where he or she can safely explore these and other issues.   At the GRID Clinic we also teach improved dietary habits based on the GRID Diet.  This is a low glycemic and low animal protein dietary approach that overcomes many of the metabolic and endocrine reasons for weight gain.  Long term support is available to all of our clients.

Products

GRID@home is designed for individuals cannot attend the GRID Clinic. The GRID Diet is easy to follow and the GRID products are easy to take and affordable.  GRID@home works best for individuals who need to lose 50 or fewer pounds.  The GRID Meal Replacement taken once or twice daily maintains a low glycemic load, provides adequate energy and delivers rapid and sustained weight loss.  Daily exercise is also an important component of an effective weight loss program.  Although walking is effective, more vigorous types of exercise deliver even more rapid results.  Always check with your doctor before embarking on a new diet or strenous exercise program.   Please download the GRID articles from this website and visit GRID Products for more information and to order items.
